Part-time Golf Reception Assistant

Due to increased opening hours, Inchmarlo Golf Centre is now hiring a part time Golf Reception Assistant to work flexible and varied hours which will include evening and weekend working – Ideal if you are retired or looking for a flexible part time job.
We are looking for a people person with good communication and customer service skills and someone who enjoys working with a varied customer group.
A team player to help in the daily operations of the Golf Centre, servicing the golf reception, driving range and golf course which is a friendly working environment.
Golf experience is an advantage, but not essential as training will be given.
The successful candidate will receive the Living Wage Foundation hourly rate of pay (age dependant).
Role
- Check in members or visitors utilising the Point-of-Sale system for processing purchases and credit card transactions
- Answering phone calls and managing tee sheet system for our 9-hole golf course
- Maintain the Golfers self-service café by keeping it neat and orderly
- Perform opening and closing procedures for Golf Reception

Apprentice Greenkeeper
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual willing to listen and learn, who will enjoy being part of a small team whilst also being given the flexibility and trust to work on their own when required.
The successful candidate will learn the modern skills and knowledge to meet a greenkeepers job profile including maintaining the health of sports turf, renovating and repairing sports turf surfaces, use and maintenance of powered and non-powered hand tools, how to use and maintain ride-on mowers, personal development and more.
Whilst this is predominantly a work-based 2-year apprenticeship, your induction and additional training for short courses will be held at SRUC Elmwood College, Cupar, Fife. On completion of the apprenticeship, you will receive an SVQ 2 National Qualification in Sports Turf Maintenance.
General hours of work will be Monday – Friday, 6am to 2.30pm including some weekends.
For the duration of the apprenticeship, you will be fully employed by Inchmarlo Golf Centre.
